Sloe and Wild - Amazing food and service

We could not be happier with the incredible food and service Sloe & Wild provided for our wedding reception. Mark was extremely knowledgeable, responsive and supportive from the first call we had and gave us creative ideas for our menu that we never would have thought of ourselves. We went for sharing style platters and many of our guests commented on how good the food and canapés were on the day. Not only was the food fantastic, but Mark and his team also made the day run like clockwork allowing us to enjoy it with our guests. Erin and all the staff were great and made sure every detail was taken care of from the bar to making sure we were running on time. I would not hesitate to recommend Sloe & Wild and am so grateful to Mark and his team for helping to make it such a memorable day!

Perfection

From the first phone call with Mark we knew we were in safe hands. My partner and I are vegetarian so went for a full veggie wedding menu. Mark was so excited by this and we were too. He came up with the most ideal menu that we adored and my gosh did he deliver. The food was not only beautifully presented but tasted just divine. Everyone was raving about the food to us afterwards. I barely noticed his team flying around the wedding keeping everything in check. They were calm and organised and we would highly recommend Mark and his team for any wedding. Another point to make was that we were really keen to have no waste and to source locally and Mark provided just this. It was all so exciting from start to end. Thank you so much Mark and Erin for the most wonderful day. I can't believe how I managed to eat it all in my corseted wedding dress but it had to be done! Thank you for all your efforts we feel so very lucky to have found you and to experience your creativity with all our family and friends.

Delicious food with fantastic service!

We were recommended Mark and his brilliant team, we had a wedding in the middle of winter in a yurt in the wind and rain, we had the best day and it was completely seamless thanks to the Sloe and Wild team! My husband and I had some odd and difficult requests but nothing was a problem and the food we were promised was way beyond our expectations! I really can’t recommend them enough!

We have known and appreciated Mark's cooking for a number of years and consider him one of the best chefs in the South East.  When we were looking to select a caterer for our wedding the list only comprised one name. All went perfectly, everyone complimented the cuisine and we  recommend him without hesitation.  His events at The goosberry house are pretty good too !

Having engaged the services of Mark and his team for our New Year’s Eve dinner party, I can say it was truly a wonderful evening. The food was absolutely delicious, and every effort was made to cater for my gluten-free guests, ensuring we all ate the from the same menu. His team were friendly and informal but at the same time true professionals. We would have no hesitation in recommending his services.

Mark and Sloe & Wild came recommended by locals, but nonetheless it was a little risky for us to choose them, somewhat blind. Mark and his team catered a birthday party in our home. It was nothing less than tremendous. The food, his team, and their professionalism was tip-top.

 

 He and the team then handled a 100 person all day event for us. Again the food and staff spirit were amazing. The local food and ingredients were great. We loved that the food was seasonal. Everything was served at temperature with style. Mark helped us with all of the right choices, timings, finer details, and more. His advice proved vital to the success of the events to ensure that our guests had a lovely time. Mark and Sloe & Wild and their food/service were nothing less than absolutely fantastic.

"So many thanks to you and your team for the most fabulous Osado - Argentinian BBQ. The sight of the food slowly cooking over the wood fire was spectacular. The lamb was wonderfully tender and flavoursome,the vegetables a wonderful and colourful selection, so impressed with the damper bread (tasted amazing!) and the very slowly bbq pinneapple with its frequent basting in pinneapple juice - everyone has commented on it and the accompaniments of coconut yoghurt and lime was divine. Thankyou all for your hard work and for helping to produce a wonderfull celebration. We had such a great party!"
